We are expanding our operations into City of Wodonga and we invite applications from outstanding individuals from Wodonga (and surrounding areas).
We seek to recruit new Board Directors to widen the Board’s expertise, specifically in the following disciplines:
- Finance
- Business management
- Marketing
- Publicity
- Fundraising
- Change management
The Board Director role involves quarterly meetings, attendance at special workshops and public meetings, and potential involvement in other activities relevant to expertise (e.g. funding submissions) during the course of a year.
The positions are voluntary, non-paid.
Albury Conservation Company’s Board is accountable for the organisation’s strategic direction, solvency, and legal compliance. Individual Directors are encouraged to build high-level networks and connections with stakeholder groups in our sector, including government, science, industry, community, Indigenous, and conservation interests.
Established in 2006, Albury Conservation Company is a not-for-profit community based organisation that has become a respected advocate for conserving the natural environment of Albury. We are now expanding our operations into Victoria thanks to a major grant from the Ross Trust in partnership with City of Wodonga.
Our Board currently consists of seven (7) members, and is chaired by Mr James Jenkins. Our organisation is guided by our Strategic Plan (2016-21), and engages two contractors to deliver on the Strategic Plan.
