“MORE than 200 Border schoolchildren will get the chance to help scientists research and monitor wildlife when they take part in the first Thurgoona Bioblitz. During the next two days, students and members of the public are invited to make wildlife surveys on selected sites around Thurgoona, including spotlighting and checking nest boxes for squirrel gliders, the trapping of bats and small animals, bird watching, identifying frog calls and searching for lizards.”
